Mr. Sushil Luniya is a business leader with about 30 years of experience across Consumer, Services and Retail. He is a Gold Medalist from BITS Pilani and an MBA from FMS Delhi. He has worked with Blue Chip Indian companies like Asian Paints, Pidilite , Raymonds, Apollo Tyres and Sify. He has delivered exponential growths as well as participated in business turnarounds during his 30 years of career. He also took two entrepreneurial responsibilities to set up two successful corporate start-ups each of which are over Rs 500 cr in revenues now. He has led P&L responsibility since 2007.

I have over 30 years of Corporate work experience as Business Leader with Indian Blue Chip Companies of which last 10 years have been in Leadership Roles. Have been instrumental in Innovating business models, creating Strategic road maps for long term growth and creating organizational Capacity for driving growth Creating and implementing processes and systems for superior Execution ensured success of Strategies. Have also been a founding member of two corporate start-ups.

We are a CEO and CMO on demand. Our scope of work covers developing Strategic Architecture of the business unit, carrying out diagnostics and transformation for performance improvement in Sales, Marketing and Distribution, driving Commercial excellence in Operations and Training interventions for Sales Organization.
Our Product Portfolio Analysis suite covers Market segment analysis for opportunity maximization, Competitive benchmarking, Channel optimization, Sales Promotion strategies and Financial modelling to improve ROI.
Industry verticals where we would focus are in Consumer, Consumer Industrials, Franchise Retail, Wellness. and Telecom.
As Certified Independent Director, we could provide Leadership at Board Level also.
What inspired you to start your practice/ start offering the above service?
The Mid-size businesses in India are experiencing both uncertainty and complexity on one side and tremendous opportunity for growth on the other spectrum. Also, many advisory firms do not have extensive line experience of real time delivery in an organizational set up. Avenir attempts to bridge this gap and partner firms in co creating future.
What is your target market? Who are the clients whom you think can immensely benefit from the services your firm provides?
Our clients would include Mid- size companies needing a Chief Marketing officer or CEO on demand. Also, companies backed by PE funds also would be able to leverage our vast experience. Large Organizations that are facing talent crunch to capitalize on available opportunities could use us to evaluate business opportunities and prepare go to market plans to tap into them. We are at ease both for handling domestic opportunities as well as Export Markets.

What has been the most challenging part of your journey till now?
Have been fortunate to experience both Business Transformation through Strategic initiatives and delivering Operational Excellence at large blue chip corporates. Working and living up-to expectation of Indian Owners of these companies who are very focused, impatient and demands high degree of accountability has been a very rewarding and challenging experience.
What has been your/your firms’ biggest achievement?
As part of Corporate life, Business model Innovation and Product portfolio Analysis at Pidilite for Dr Fixit Brand was the most satisfying achievement. As part of Avenir Consulting, we have an ongoing engagement with a Fin-Tech company for India and International launch and are very excited to drive financial inclusion for bottom of the pyramid.
What are your future plans? What should clients look for in future from you in next few years?
We would be adding strong HR practice of Executive Coaching and Behavioral Training soon as part of our offering.

Align Execution to Strategy for superior results.
What is the one mistake that you feel individuals must avoid?
Focus on Outcomes only rather than understanding and driving effective inputs drivers/initiatives to achieve these outcomes.
